Island Time
Our retirement on Island Time as liveaboards.

Bequia is the northern most Grenadine island and part of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. We anchored in Admiralty Bay and stayed for five days. We reunited with friends on Pirates Hideout that we had met the previous year in the Bahamas. There is a large marine service industry here as well as many restaurants to sample. We did find Mac’s Pizzeria where we had our first pizza in many months. We left Bequia headed for Grenada trying to beat some weather heading our way.
Admiralty Bay, Bequia
Carriacou and Grenada Carriacou is part of Grenada and is in the southern end of the Grenadines. One checks in at Hillsborough but we had trouble getting the anchor to hold so we went around the end of the island to anchor in Tyrell Bay for the night with many other boats. We left early the next day and headed down the windward side of Grenada with the destination of Prickly Bay. We did not beat the weather and we encountered rain and squalls during the trip. Our arrival in Prickly Bay was very welcome. We waited in Grenada for a weather window for the trip to Trinidad. The trip to Trinidad is about 80 miles so we left the anchorage late afternoon for an early morning arrival in Trinidad. We spent little time exploring the island as we had three days to get the boat ready for hauling and then our flight home. Trinidad is extremely hot and we welcomed our return to Vermont.
